Andrew
Dankwerth joined Pembroke Real Estate at its inception in
1997, following four years at Fidelity Corporate Real Estate
(FREC). As Vice President of Capital Projects, Andrew is
responsible for managing the physical due diligence process
for acquisitions and overseeing major capital projects across
the Pembroke portfolio throughout the US, Japan, UK and
Continental Europe. Andrew works closely with Pembroke’s
project managers and acquisition teams to ensure that
Pembroke’s development and due diligence efforts adhere to the
high standards and processes that result in successful
projects
Additionally, Andrew oversees numerous design
and development projects for both Pembroke and Fidelity
properties in Boston’s Seaport District, including major
improvements to the Seaport Hotel and retail spaces for the
World Trade Center East and West towers. Furthermore, he was
fundamental in managing all aspects of the Ygnacio Center
office/retail development in Walnut Creek, California
including permitting processes, local government relations,
design, construction and leasing.
Prior to Pembroke,
Andrew served as a Design Manager, responsible for the design
oversight and coordination of domestic and international
corporate and non-profit real estate projects for Fidelity
Corporate Real Estate including Fidelity Corporate facilities
in Westlake, Texas, Covington, Kentucky, Villa Mumm in
Frankfurt, Germany and Bermuda Underwater Exploration
Institute for The Fidelity Foundation.
A Registered
Architect with 22 years experience, Andrew received a Bachelor
of Architecture Degree from the University of Kansas and
studied architecture at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh,
Scotland. Active in the real estate and design community,
Andrew is a member of the American Institute of Architects,
the Boston Society of Architects and NAIOP, having served as
the Vice President of the Program Committee and the Education
Committee. Andrew has also taught design studio at the Boston
Architectural College. |
