Takashi Endo is director at Pembroke, responsible for real estate acquisitions and financial analysis in Japan. He assumed his current position in September 2006. Takashi has been instrumental in number of recent Pembroke acquisitions in Tokyo, including Roppongi 7 Chome and Azabu Gardens parcels.
Prior to joining Pembroke, Takashi worked for a real estate consulting firm in Los Angeles, California advising clients in regards to real estate investment opportunities and disposition strategies and conducting financial analysis of commercial properties. Takashi also has experience working at Toyo Real Estate, an international real estate development firm of the Sanwa Bank Group (currently known as Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group) based in Japan. As project manager for the firm’s residential development division, he produced and managed a number of residential condominium projects in the Tokyo area. Within a few years, Takashi was promoted to vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) for the firm’s investment operations in the US. His responsibilities in this role included directing asset management of commercial properties, developing property reposition strategies to add value to the commercial properties and overseeing financial management.
Takashi received his bachelor of arts degree in economics from Keio University in Tokyo and a master of science degree in real estate development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he majored in real estate finance. He has a general certification in real estate appraisal from the State of California and broker’s licenses in both the US and Japan. He is a member of Urban Land Institute and the Japan Association of Real Estate Financial Engineering. |
